-->

I have explained two other points on the previous article which I believe you have read the article. Today, I want to continue explaining the 3rd to 9th points about scar treatment. Let’s start with the 3d point.

#3. Treat the scabs appropriately. The key point here is not to pick at scabs. Wound always causes the development of scabs. It is the process of healing. It is not a good idea to pick at scabs as it will increase the possibility of scarring.

#4. Get the right bandage. When we get cut, there will be greater chances to get scarring. Therefore, right after getting a cut, we have to get the butterfly bandage to stick the cutted part together so it will not leave a scar.

#5. Eat More Protein and Vitamins. If your body has everything it takes, it can heal the wound faster. We should supply our body with protein and vitamins which comes from a well-balanced meal. Mineral zinc is important for healing wound.

There are various mineral zinc sources such as dark meat turkey, peanuts, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, Swiss and cheddar cheeses.

#6. Treat the scars nicely. The best and quickest way to treat the scars is by applying a good skin cream to avoid abrasion.

#7. Use washcloth tenderly. Washcloth can hurt the wound. This way, we have to make sure that the wound fully covered with something before we can directly use the wash cloth.

#8. Apply sun block to the scars. Having a scar, we should think twice if we want to get out from our house. However, there is a solution for it. You can use the sun block to protect your wound.

#9. Don’t be overly worried. Though scars are considered to be permanent, some type of scars can be vanishing in short period. Well, it is not the real scars but it does look like scars.

Those are the 9th points of scar treatment.
